Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer for a general, abdominal/OB-GYN, and vascular imaging role requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and ARDMS certification.

Details

• Full-time, 40-hour work week
• Performs general, abdominal/OB-GYN, and vascular ultrasound studies
• Schedule flexibility required, including willingness to cover other shifts as needed
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience
• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program
• Active BLS required
• ARDMS certification in AB, OB-GYN (RDMS), and RVT required
• Active state license if applicable
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and handle awkward loads up to 100+ lbs as needed
• Must be able to stand 7–8 hours and walk 6–7 hours per workday
• Proficiency with PACS systems required
• DOB and SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform high-quality general, abdominal/OB-GYN, and vascular ultrasound exams in accordance with facility protocols
• Set up and assist radiologist during procedures
• Utilize EMR systems to generate, complete, and manage exam orders
• Perform, record, and analyze QC data to maintain accuracy and precision
• Responsible for reporting equipment malfunctions to service personnel and supervisors
• Assist with patient transport as needed
• Collaborate cross-departmentally to improve patient and staff experiences
• Maintain clinical competency through in-house education, new protocol training, and equipment familiarization
