Emergency Medicine Physician Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Medicine experience required
• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, or Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with recent emergency department experience
• Active physician license in the practicing state, or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Strong clinical decision-making skills in a fast-paced emergency care setting
• Ability to collaborate with physicians, intensivists, hospitalists, specialists, nursing, and EMS teams

Emergency Department Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients across a wide range of acuity levels
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat emergent and urgent conditions in an efficient, patient-centered manner
• Stabilize patients requiring higher levels of care and coordinate smooth transfers for inpatient admission when needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care and effective patient handoffs
• Use on-site diagnostic imaging and emergency department resources to support timely treatment decisions
• Deliver high-quality care to both adult and pediatric patient populations
