The Goddard School is an industry‑leading child‑care center for children from six weeks to six years. Teachers are expected to use the Wonder of Learning curriculum and to foster independent skill development. Responsibilities Lead Teachers, with help from an Assistant Teacher (or co‑lead), are responsible for ensuring compliance with Goddard’s industry‑leading Health & Safety Quality Assurance standards. They have weekly lesson‑planning time outside the classroom and are expected to create a positive learning environment that encourages a lifelong love of learning. They will also collaborate daily with fellow teachers to maintain a healthy work environment and a classroom filled with fun‑based learning. Lead Teacher Qualifications Associates or BA in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred CDA and Early Childhood Degree Prior classroom experience (Preferred, will train) Demonstrate knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices Strong written and communication skills Assistant Teacher Qualifications High School Diploma Prior childcare experience (Preferred, will train) Pursuing degree (CDA and Early Childhood Degree partnerships) Child Care Experience: 1 year (Preferred, will train) Job Type Full‑time Pay $15.50 - $18.00 per hour Schedule 8 hour shift Day shift School is open from 7 AM-6 PM Monday through Friday #J-18808-Ljbffr The Goddard School of Broadview Heights, OH
