Parts Manager

Classic Volkswagen of Gastonia is seeking an experienced Parts Manager to lead our parts department in Gastonia, NC. This role is vital to ensuring efficient parts inventory management, exceptional customer service, and strong vendor relationships. The ideal candidate will bring leadership skills, automotive parts expertise, and a commitment to supporting our team and customers. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day operations of the parts department, including inventory control and ordering Develop and maintain relationships with parts suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement Lead, train, and motivate parts department staff to achieve performance goals and deliver excellent customer service Maintain accurate records of parts sales and inventory levels, ensuring proper stock to meet service demands Collaborate with service and sales departments to support overall dealership operations Implement processes to monitor and improve parts profitability and efficiency Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements Requirements Proven experience as a Parts Manager or similar role in an automotive environment Strong knowledge of automotive parts and inventory management systems Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions Proficient in using dealership management software and Microsoft Office Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certifications in automotive parts management is a plus Benefits Competitive salary range of $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year, paid semi-monthly Health, dental, and vision insurance options 401(k) retirement plan with company match Paid time off and holiday pay Opportunities for professional development and career advancement Supportive and collaborative work environment About the Company Classic Volkswagen of Gastonia is dedicated to providing high-quality Volkswagen vehicles, parts, and service to the Gastonia, NC community.
