General Maintenance

Location: Tippecanoe School Corporation
Hours: 3 pm -11:30 pm
Starting hourly rate: $25.26

Work under the supervision of Sarah Copley, Maintenance Manager, at the Operations Center.

Eligible for health Insurance

Skills and knowledge required are as follows, but not limited to:

Basic Plumbing, electric, and mechanical repairs
3 Phase power
Chillers
Boilers
Pumps
HVAC
Commercial kitchen equipment
computer knowledge
Repair/Service of outdoor equipment

Requirements

Must be able to work with a variety of people
Must be able to prioritize work orders
Self-starter
Ability to work alone and unsupervised
Excellent attendance
Have own basic tools
Plow snow
Must have High School diploma
Available on emergency basis
Climb ladder
Use lift
Lift 50 pounds
Ability to erect and utilize scaffolding, man lifts/boom lifts
Ability to read blueprints and control diagrams
May have to enter confined space on occasion
Must have valid driver's license/good driving record
Work outside in all types of weather
All other assignments that are at the direction of the Maintenance Manager or the Director of Buildings and Grounds
