Restaurant Manager Exempt Position - Full-Time Position Overview Global Gourmet Catering seeks a dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead our high-volume catering and restaurant operations. The position is responsible for delivering exceptional culinary experiences while maintaining our commitment to sustainability, local sourcing, and world-class service. Key Responsibilities Drive operational excellence across all catering and restaurant functions Manage and develop a diverse team of culinary and service professionals Coordinate with event planners and clients for special events and catering functions Oversee food cost, labor cost, and inventory management Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food handling regulations Implement sustainable practices aligned with Global Gourmet's environmental commitments Manage multiple venues and off-site catering operations Coordinate with local vendors and maintain farm-to-table relationships Handle high-profile client relationships and VIP events Maintain quality control standards across all service points Develop and execute staff training programs Manage budgets and financial reporting Coordinate with marketing team for social media and promotional activities Required Qualifications 5+ years of catering or restaurant management experience Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field (or equivalent experience) Proven track record in high-volume catering operations Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Proficiency in catering/restaurant POS systems and Microsoft Office ServSafe Manager Certification Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Preferred Qualifications Experience with sustainable restaurant practices Knowledge of Bay Area food scene and local vendors Multi-unit management experience Bilingual skills (Spanish/English preferred) HACCP Certification Working Conditions Must be able to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Work in various weather conditions for outdoor events Variable schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays Benefits Competitive salary Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and sick leave Professional development opportunities Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance Employee meals Performance bonuses Health and wellness programs Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Global Gourmet Catering is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
