Perfusionist – Direct Hire

Location: Tulsa, OK

 

Compensation:
• $161,262 – $241,883 annually
• Full benefits package

Position Overview

An established healthcare organization is seeking a Perfusionist to join its cardiovascular surgery team. This role is responsible for managing cardiopulmonary bypass procedures during cardiac surgery, operating heart-lung equipment, and supporting cell saver procedures across multiple surgical specialties.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and manage cardiopulmonary bypass systems during cardiac procedures
• Select appropriate perfusion circuits and prime solutions based on patient and procedural requirements
• Prepare, test, and maintain heart-lung machines and related equipment
• Monitor and manage patients during cardiopulmonary bypass
• Administer and monitor pharmacologic interventions as appropriate
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and regulatory compliance
• Support cell saver procedures for orthopedic, cardiac, and neurosurgical cases
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals

 

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Perfusion Program
• Degree in Health Science or related field
• Current Perfusionist licensure or eligibility to obtain Oklahoma licensure
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment

 

Preferred

• 1–2 years of Perfusion experience
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
