The Position

We are looking for a General Manager-the maestro of muscles, sultan of sales, the wizard of wellness, and the captain of Kickoff booking! With a blend of savvy business acumen and a passion for fitness, they ensure our gym runs smoother than a well-oiled treadmill.

Our General Manager expertly juggles daily operations, from supervising staff and enhancing member experiences to strategizing growth and keeping our facilities in tip top shape. They're the friendly face who greets you at the door, the problem-solver who ensures your workouts are seamless, and the motivator who inspires both staff and members to achieve their best.

In addition to their charismatic leadership, our General Manager is a sales dynamo. Their expert sales skills drive membership growth and engagement, and they lead by example, fostering a results-driven culture. With their knack for balancing the serious with the fun, they create a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere where fitness goals are met, smiles are shared, and success is celebrated.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Sports Science, or related field
• 3-5 years experience in sales and management
• CPR/AED Certification

Responsibilities

• As the GM you will never be bored! You get to run all aspects of the club including; new member sales production and front desk staff, facilities and operations, member management, and both the personal training and group fitness departments.
• Make your club a place your community is proud to workout by ensuring the members receive the highest quality of service and facilities.
• Lead your team to greatness by
  • Establishing a culture of positivity, hard work, and integrity
  • Achieving the financial targets for the club by motivating, leading, supervising and coordinating the activities of employees engaged in servicing our member needs

The Location

SIR Fitness is based in Southern California and our 13 franchise locations include Crunch Anaheim, Garden Grove, Crunch Huntington Beach, Crunch Fountain Valley, Crunch Tustin, Crunch Placentia, Crunch San Clemente, Crunch Vista, Crunch Oceanside, Crunch Orange, Crunch Carmel Valley, Crunch University Square, Crunch Eastlake. Our clubs are filled with the best strength and cardio equipment in the industry, including a functional training zone with turf, olympic lifting platforms, group fitness studio, and tons of machines and free weights. We're also proud to offer a Relax and Recover zone with hydromassage beds, tanning booths, and lounge. Some clubs also feature state of the art cycle studios, 3D body scanner and sauna. Our gyms also offer personal training and nutrition coaching, group fitness classes, and HIIT Zone classes.
