A well-established regional CPA and advisory firm in the Akron-Canton area is looking for a Tax Director to lead a significant portion of its tax practice. You'll serve as a senior technical resource and trusted advisor, lead and grow teams, and play a key role in the firm's growth, with a path to Partner.

What You'll Do
- Lead complex tax engagements and serve as a senior technical resource
- Provide final review of sophisticated returns, planning, and research
- Advise business owners and high-net-worth clients on planning and structuring
- Oversee specialty areas such as trusts and estates or multistate tax, as applicable
- Manage practice economics, staffing, and quality
- Mentor and develop managers and senior managers
- Lead business development and represent the firm in the community
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's in Taxation a plus
- 10+ years of tax experience in public accounting
- Active CPA license (required)
- Recognized technical depth in business and individual taxation
- Proven leadership of teams and client portfolios
- Strong business development and relationship skills
- Uncompromising integrity
- Base salary of $130,000 - $165,000, depending on experience
