E-Shop Clerk
Berkeley Bowl
Purpose : To provide accurate, prompt & friendly service to Berkeley Bowl’s online customers, and assist in operations of E-Shop to help meet department goals. Status : Reports to E-Shop Manager Responsibilities : Fill customer orders accurately and efficiently. Pack orders for pickup and delivery in an organized manner, utilizing refrigeration and freezers when necessary. Contact customers regarding replacement options. Assist customers with questions, suggestions, and complaints. Report customer suggestions, comments, and complaints to Supervisor. Maintain packing and order storage areas in sanitary and orderly condition, following established procedures. Clean up spills. Follow food safety and sanitation regulations maintaining correct temperatures of hot or cold food products, according to CURFFL and HACCP. Restock department supplies when needed. Report out-of-stocks to Supervisor. Use department equipment safely and as intended. Advise Supervisor of equipment repair needs. Carry out established opening and closing procedures. Qualifications: Education/Training: High school diploma or GED preferred. Knowledge/Skills: Basic math skills required Familiarity with diets, food sensitivities and allergies. Understanding of written and spoken English Handle multiple demands in a fast-paced environment. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and meet the physical demands of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. Other: Must be 18 years old of age. Able to stand/walk for extended periods of time. Able to reach, squat, pull, and push with or without reasonable accommodation. Willingness to work with meat & seafood. Willingness to work with sanitizers and cleaners.
