Mobile Phlebotomists – Assisted Living Facilities/Home Health Phlebotomists are very important for our laboratory team. Your bedside manners determine patients' attitudes to our lab service. You are the front line when it comes to patient safety issues, as well as the integrity of the sample you draw or collect. Minimum Qualifications: Phlebotomy training, Florida or national license. 3 years of current and continuous phlebotomy experience with a proven record of consistent and accurate performance. Experience of working with elderly patients and hard sticks. Must use your own car to travel to ALFs and patients’ homes. Preferred Qualifications: Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with the desire to help grow the business. Work Environment: We are an independent reference lab based in Tampa, FL. We are looking for independent contractors with experience and desire to build a mobile phlebotomy team in the area. Our mission is to provide superior quality service for physicians and their patients. Most of the draws are at Assisted Living Facilities during early morning hours: 5-8 a.m. House calls during the day for Home Health Agency draws and collections. Local driving in your own car.
