The Arthur Smith Institute for Urology at Northwell Health is seeking a physician leader for the position of Chief, Urology at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead, NY. Responsibilities and tasks of the role include:Working with the chair on all matters related to clinical operationsEnsure high quality patient care through development and standardization of care processes and protocolsContinue to develop a culture of scholarship in quality improvement, health equity and outcomesEnsure the productivity of physician faculty and support staffMaintain and improve upon the excellence within the departmentCandidate QualificationsM.D. Degree or equivalent from an accredited College of MedicineCompletion of residency and fellowship with Board Certification or eligibilityCurrently licensed as a physician in the State of New YorkOutstanding communication and management skills, and an ability to work collaboratively with medical staff, hospital management, and staffPrevious division, department, or program leadershipThe Smith Institute for UrologyNorthwell Health's Arthur Smith Institute for Urology has seen tremendous growth over the past five years within Long Island, New York City, and Westchester; with the goal of providing comprehensive, integrated health care and wellness services.
