Make a meaningful impact supporting students across a variety of school settings as a Physical Therapist in the Fort Myers, FL area! This full-time, contract role covers up to 37.5 hours per week onsite for the 2026–2027 school year, with responsibilities at multiple school sites throughout the district, serving a diverse caseload of Pre K–12 students.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
• Active Physical Therapist license through the Florida Department of Health
• Previous experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams across several school environments
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Able to reliably travel between assigned campuses

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and develop individualized treatment plans to promote students’ motor skill development and functional independence
• Provide direct physical therapy services as specified in each student’s IEP
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers to create supportive learning environments
• Document and report progress in accordance with school and legal requirements
• Advise on adaptive equipment and environmental modifications to enhance student participation
• Travel between multiple school sites within the district to meet caseload needs

Additional Details:

• Role begins 8/11/26 and concludes 5/27/27
• Full-time hours: up to 37.5 per week (7.5 per day)
• Fingerprinting and credentialing required before start; streamlined if transferring from another Florida district
