Director of Data & AI Products

AbbVie

AbbVie seeks a Director of Data & AI Products to lead global commercial data and AI technical product strategy, operating model, and portfolio management. The role owns multi-million-dollar investments across 30+ data domains and AI capabilities, building and scaling a team of technical product managers while partnering with architecture, engineering, security, and business leaders.

Responsibilities

Own technical data and AI product operating model, portfolio strategy, and lifecycle discipline across 40+ brands and 120 countries
Lead multi-year technical product roadmap aligned to commercial priorities and enterprise risk expectations
Build and scale team of 10-20 technical product managers with influence across 50-100+ matrixed resources
Manage annual engineering and technical portfolio budget, business cases, and vendor alignment to product outcomes
Partner with architecture, engineering, security, privacy, and governance leaders on standards, trade-offs, and compliance-by-design decisions

Requirements

Bachelor's degree plus 12+ years progressive technical product management or platform leadership experience
Demonstrated ability to define multi-year strategy and secure executive alignment
Experience developing, launching, and operating production data products at enterprise scale
Global portfolio ownership and operating model leadership in complex regulated environments
People leadership and accountability for measurable outcomes in large organizations
Strong ability to translate business objectives into funded roadmaps and value realization
