Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and evaluations to accurately diagnose patients’ mental health conditions.
• Manage medication regimens for patients, monitoring their effectiveness and making adjustments as needed to optimize treatment outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including primary care physicians, psychologists, and social workers, to deliver integrated and comprehensive mental health care.
• Provide crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing acute emotional distress, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Engage in community outreach initiatives aimed at increasing mental health awareness and reducing stigma associated with mental health issues.
• Deliver therapeutic support through various modalities, including counseling and psychoeducation, to empower patients in their recovery journey.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of patient interactions and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinic policies.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.

Compensation and Benefits
