Job Details Position: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) Employment Type: Travel RN Location: Everett, Washington 98201 Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights Weekly Hours: 36 hours Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,160 - $2,270 Orientation: 40 hours Charting System: Epic Call: Not required Float: May be required to postpartum and nearby sister facilities Weekend Coverage: Required Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse license with compact or state eligibility in hand at submission Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery RN experience required; 2 years preferred Experience with high-risk perinatal care strongly preferred Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring certification required AWHONN Intermediate, AWHONN Advanced, or Relias Fetal Monitoring accepted as specified Strong sterile vaginal exam (SVE) skills required Epic charting experience required Must be comfortable with weekend shifts, floating, and working in a high-acuity hospital environment First-time travelers may be considered Ability to provide 2 professional references covering the last 3 years Responsibilities Provide skilled, compassionate care to patients in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Antepartum, and Triage Support high-risk laboring patients and assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries Perform fetal monitoring, assess fetal heart rate patterns, and respond appropriately to changes in maternal or fetal status Administer and manage medications and therapies including Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, insulin drips, and other OB-related treatments Assist with procedures such as SVE, amnioinfusion, IUPC placement, and postpartum recovery care Provide newborn assessments, thermoregulation support, breastfeeding education, and couplet care Collaborate with physicians, CRNAs, surgical techs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, timely care Educate and support patients and families throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and follow established care standards and unit protocols Work as part of a coordinated team in a busy women's and children's service line Apply now for this Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse travel job in Everett, Washington, and join a collaborative healthcare team today.
