Job Details Location: Everett, WA Healthcare Setting: High-risk Labor & Delivery / Postpartum Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (Travel RN) Start Date: 09/21/2026 End Date: 12/21/2026 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night shift, 12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30) Orientation: 40 hours Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,160 - $2,270 Openings: 1 Schedule Notes: Weekends required; float to postpartum required Job Requirements Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required at time of submission Compact RN license must be in hand at submission if applicable Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate or approved fetal monitoring certification AWHONN Advanced or equivalent fetal monitoring experience strongly preferred Recent experience with sterile vaginal exams and high-acuity obstetric care required Epic charting experience required Experience in facilities with 200 deliveries preferred; 100-200 deliveries may be considered Comfort with weekend coverage and floating to postpartum is required Must be able to provide two references covering the last year of experience Responsibilities Provide safe, compassionate patient care in Labor & Delivery, Antepartum, and Postpartum settings Monitor labor progress and fetal well-being using appropriate assessment and fetal monitoring techniques Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and recovery care Support high-risk antepartum patients, including pre-eclampsia, preterm labor, and postpartum hemorrhage management Perform and document sterile vaginal exams, assess fetal heart patterns, and respond quickly to changes in patient condition Educate and support new parents with breastfeeding, newborn care, discharge teaching, and postpartum recovery Collaborate closely with physicians, surgical staff, and interdisciplinary care teams to promote positive outcomes Deliver efficient, team-oriented care in a fast-paced, high-acuity maternity nursing environment Apply now for this Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse opportunity in Everett, WA, and join a dedicated women’s health and maternity care team today.
