Retail Sales and Marketing Coordinator

Job Description
Can I buy from your company? Successful applicant will be able to say YES and tell your friends! Position will be responsible for growing our retail presence in person at our retail store The Little Barn, online and to regional garden centers.
\n \nNative West Nursery is a leading native plant nursery in California and growing quickly through our reputation for technical knowledge, quality, and customer satisfaction. We are adding talent to our team looking for someone to be our Retail sales and Marketing Coordinator.
\n \nSuccessful applicant will be knowledgeable and passionate about plants native to the Pacific and the southwest. They will be a friendly and welcoming and enjoy helping customers have great experiences with native plants. They will be comfortable with sales and expanding our customer base with an eye towards business growth and marketing.
\n \n \nPosition requirements
\nValid and clean CA Driver’s License
\nWork in full sun, inclement weather
\nSome physical labor moving and maintaining plants
\nAbility to lift 50lbs
\nOccasional speaking opportunities engaging the community
\nOrganized, driven, self-starter
\nCustomer service oriented
\nWork well with an established team
\nFamiliar with plant botanical names
\nFamiliar with southern California native plant communities
\nAvailable to work weekends where necessary
\n \nNice to have
\nGraphic design/ marketing experience
\nBilingual English/ Spanish
\nDesign background
\nBachelor’s degree
\n \nHours
\nFull time around 40 hours per week.
\n \nPay
\n \n$20- $25 per hour to start, depending on experience
\nPaid sick, vacation and holidays
