The ideal candidate will have a strong background in T-SQL performance optimization, Power BI, and data modeling , along with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with both business and IT leadership. Key Responsibilities Develop and optimize complex T-SQL queries , following best practices for performance tuning. Design and implement Power BI dashboards, visualizations, and data models , utilizing Power Query and DAX. Work closely with business stakeholders and IT leadership to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights. Maintain and enhance data pipelines and reporting frameworks to support business intelligence initiatives. Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security across various systems and platforms. Required Skills & Experience Advanced T-SQL expertise , including performance optimization and windowed functions. Strong Power BI proficiency , including visualization design, data modeling, Power Query, and DAX. Excellent communication skills , with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams. Nice to Have (Preferred Skills) Experience with Python for data processing and automation. Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and Azure cloud services . Familiarity with Power Automate and Azure Data Factory for workflow automation and data integration. Personal Characteristics High level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism . Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset , with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Strong team player , capable of working across disciplines and cultures. Detail-oriented , while maintaining a strategic, big-picture perspective . Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines. Initially 3 days/week in-office (Downtown Minneapolis). After training, transition to 2 days/week (Mondays & Thursdays).
