Charlotte - Operations Manager

Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end freight forwarding operations including import, export, air, and ocean shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery for clients.
- Manage and develop a team of operations specialists, providing coaching, performance feedback, and workflow guidance to maintain high service standards.
- Coordinate with customs brokers, carriers, agents, and international partners to resolve shipment exceptions and maintain seamless supply chain execution.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, cost per shipment, and customer satisfaction, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure full compliance with U.S. Customs regulations, IATA standards, and relevant international trade laws across all operational activities.
- Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency, reduce transit times, and lower overall costs.
- Serve as a primary point of escalation for client inquiries and issues, maintaining strong relationships with key accounts in the Charlotte market.
