This role requires the ability to assess complex nursing situations, anticipate patient needs, and deliver evidence-based interventions in a dynamic healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities: Assess patient conditions and identify nursing problems proactively, often before explicit changes in vital signs or clinical indicators become apparent Develop and implement individualized, effective nursing care plans based on clinical assessment and patient-specific needs Perform a comprehensive range of professional nursing services across medical and surgical patient populations Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, families, and interdisciplinary hospital personnel to ensure coordinated care Adapt quickly to different clinical environments while maintaining consistent quality of care across multiple unit assignments Demonstrate clinical knowledge and analytical thinking to address complex nursing situations and patient care challenges Qualifications Required Qualifications Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Two years of related clinical nursing experience in the area of interest. Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing. Current BLS certification; ACLS, NRP, and EFM where required. Up-to-date TB and vaccine requirements (e.g., flu). Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-location healthcare environment. Experience with electronic health record systems and clinical documentation.
