Job Opportunity – Perioperative Registered Nurse – Pennsylvania

Schedule: Full-time position with rotating responsibilities across multiple perioperative units

Highlights:

• Work in a dynamic surgical center environment with exposure to diverse procedural specialties including surgical, pain management, and eye laser procedures
• Gain experience across multiple units including pre-operative, PACU (Phase 1 and Phase 2), and float nurse responsibilities

• Participate in patient advocacy, education, and comprehensive perioperative care coordination
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and support staff

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania or compact state licensure
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Experience with perioperative nursing, PACU, or surgical services preferred
• Proficiency in IV therapy, medication administration, and patient assessment
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to respond to emergent situations
• Knowledge of anesthesia support, nerve blocks, and emergency protocols preferred
• Excellent communication and documentation skills with EMR experience
