Quality Inspector

Quality InspectorVOLT is immediately hiring for a Quality Inspector in Santa Maria, CA. As a Quality Inspector you will:Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of materials, components, and finished products.Use precision instruments and visual checks to verify product conformity.Document results of all inspection, test, and investigation activity on the appropriate forms, logs and reports.Ensure measuring and test equipment is operational and has valid calibration status.Identify and document nonconformances, escalate issues, and ensure proper handling per QMS standards.Other tasks as assigned.1st Shift Full Time Opportunity | Monday – Friday 7:00AM – 3:30PMQualifications:1-year previous Quality Inspection experience.Previous experience with precision measurement tools.Ability to interpret blueprint and mechanical drawings.Attention to detail.Knowledge in ISO9001 a plus.Pay Rate*: $25.49-30.08 per hour*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Benefits: Volt offers benefits (based on eligibility) that include the following: health, dental, vision, term life, short term disability, AD&D, 401(k), Sick time, and other types of paid leaves (as required by law), Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits any kind of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
