Sterile Processing Technician

Role Overview: A QA Tech, Sterile Processing is responsible for ensuring the safe and sterile condition of surgical instruments and supplies to support pediatric surgical teams. Key Responsibilities: Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, package, and sterilize surgical instruments using autoclaves and low-temperature systems. Maintain accurate documentation of sterilization processes. Monitor biological and chemical indicators to ensure proper sterilization. Manage inventory and case carts efficiently. Collaborate closely with OR and nursing staff to meet surgical schedule demands. Qualifications & Skills: Knowledge of sterilization standards (AAMI, AORN, Joint Commission). Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Commitment to quality and safety protocols.
