Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A pharmacy technician position is available on a per diem basis to support multiple retail pharmacy locations throughout the greater Sacramento area, including Lodi and Stockton. This role requires a reliable professional willing to commute within this extensive region and contribute to a dynamic team delivering quality pharmacy services.

Responsibilities include typical retail pharmacy duties such as answering phones, data entry, label printing, filling and dispensing prescriptions, operating the cash register, managing inventory, and handling takebacks. The role demands excellent teamwork and communication skills to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key qualifications and experience:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of recent, high-volume retail pharmacy technician experience (candidates with less than one year are not considered)
• Valid California pharmacy technician license; PTCB certification is a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced retail environment
• Willingness and ability to commute across the entire greater Sacramento area, including potential assignments in Lodi and Stockton

Shift availability is required for days, evenings, and weekends, with the expectation to work at least 2-3 days per week. Mileage reimbursement is provided for travel exceeding 30 miles from the candidate’s home to work sites. A brief training period is included to ensure smooth onboarding.

This per diem role offers steady revenue week after week, with increased compensation for technicians demonstrating more experience:
