Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

$1958.40/week –

Job Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse with specialized experience in the Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) for a 13-week contracted assignment. The ideal candidate will provide expert nursing care in a fast-paced EP lab environment, supporting complex cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-procedure assessments and prepare patients for EP interventions.

• Assist physicians during electrophysiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal protocol adherence.

• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any abnormalities during procedures.

• Document procedures accurately in the electronic medical records system.

• Follow unit policies, safety guidelines, and dress code requirements including scrubs provided by the hospital.

• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional patient care.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current state licensure.

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or EP lab setting.

• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

• ARRT or RCE certification preferred for technologist support staff.

• Demonstrated ability to work in a busy, urgent environment with a sense of urgency.

• Experience with Philips EMR and Meditech systems is a plus.
