PreConstruction Manager

CORE is seeking a results-oriented PreConstruction Manager with experience in construction planning, estimating, and project management to join our Schererville, IN team. This department provides professional preconstruction and virtual construction services for large-scale Commercial, K-12, Higher Education, Healthcare, and Municipal projects. The PreConstruction Manager will deliver comprehensive preconstruction services, including estimating, scheduling, value engineering, risk management, bid solicitation, and subcontractor outreach/procurement across multiple large-scale commercial projects. Responsibilities include collaboration with owners, architects, preconstruction team members, and the Operations team. The role involves researching market conditions, analyzing cost data, pricing building materials and labor, material quantification, bid solicitations, and schedule planning. The individual will review design plans and specifications for various institutional clients. Minimum of two years of experience in preconstruction or construction operations Professional degree in construction management or related field (mechanical or civil engineering, construction technology, architecture, business administration) Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Assemble, OST, CAD, Revit, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project Preferred experience with Revit, Sketchup, Bluebeam, Procore, Adobe Creative Suite Experience with CMAR and/or Design/Build delivery methods Willingness to relocate to or near Schererville, IN Ability to work well in a team and commit to excellent client service Attention to detail, organizational skills, and strong communication skills Valid Driver’s License This is an exempt position under the Fair Labor Standards Act, not eligible for overtime Seniority level Entry level Employment type Full-time Job function Management and Manufacturing Industries Construction Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at CORE by 2x.
