IAs are trained and supported by the Special Education Liaison, BCBA, Special Education Director, and the classroom teacher. The special education department takes a team approach in supporting the needs of the students. Job Summary: Provide academic, behavioral, and/or emotional support for students during the day, in the general education setting and/or the special education setting. Job Requirements: This job requires patience, experience working on a team, and a willingness to work with students with disabilities. Good communication skills and the ability to be flexible and to receive and implement instructions and behavior plans are required.
