Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Nursing Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN license required Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNCC Must-Have Skills/Experience: ER experience Description: We are seeking a qualified Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in the emergency department. Candidates must possess current ACLS, PALS, BLS, and TNCC certifications. The typical patient-to-nurse ratio is 4:1 for pod patients and 2:1 for critical patients. Fast track patients are typically managed at a ratio of 6:1. The patient population will include traumas, STEMIs, psychiatric cases, cardiac patients, GI issues, strokes, and more. Ideal candidates will possess resilience, a strong work ethic, and a team-oriented mindset. The dress code requires scrubs of any color or print. Unacceptable attire includes non-scrubs, t-shirts, open-toed shoes, hoodies, and leggings. This role does not require rotation to different units. No call requirements are expected for this position.
