Customer Service/Parts Specialist

We are a well-established and growing manufacturer seeking a Customer Service & Parts Specialist to join our team. In this highly visible role, you'll serve as a trusted resource for customers, installers, service technicians, sales teams, and internal departments by researching, quoting, and processing parts requests while helping identify opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and grow parts sales.

What You'll Do

• Research and prepare parts quotations for customers, installers, field service technicians, sales representatives, and internal teams.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, and Operations to identify the correct replacement parts and solutions.
• Process and track parts orders from quote through fulfillment.
• Follow up on outstanding quotations and customer inquiries.
• Proactively identify additional parts or components that may need replacement, creating value for customers and increasing sales opportunities.
• Communicate replacement equipment opportunities to the Sales team.
• Maintain accurate customer and opportunity information within our CRM system.
• Build strong relationships with customers and business partners through responsive, solution-focused service.
• Create an "easy-to-do-business-with" experience by resolving issues and providing clear communication throughout the process.
• Assist in training team members on parts quoting processes and best practices.
• Cross-train in other departmental functions to support business needs.
• Support workplace safety, organization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform general administrative duties and other responsibilities as assigned.

What You Bring

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills with a passion for solving problems.
• Mechanical aptitude and a basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience researching information from both electronic and paper records.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems is preferred.
• Ability to build productive relationships with both internal and external customers.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive, team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three years of customer service, parts, service, manufacturing, or related experience.
• Experience within a manufacturing, industrial, or service environment required.
• Technical parts experience preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
