Doctor of Medicine | Oncology - Radiation Location: Lima, OH Employer: VieMed Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Locum - Physician - Radiation Oncology Lima, OH Job Description: Bon Secours St. Ritas Cancer Center is seeking dedicated locum Radiation Oncologists for full-time weekly coverage. The site currently requires two full-time locum providers to ensure seamless patient care. Coverage dates are scheduled throughout the year, including various periods from June through December, with ongoing weekly availability starting at the end of June. Responsibilities: Provide outpatient radiation oncology services at St. Rita's Cancer Center in Lima and Grand Lake Regional Cancer Center in Celina. Manage a patient volume of approximately 20 outpatient and 1 inpatient per day. Perform required procedures including Conventional Radiotherapy, 3D Radiotherapy, MRT, External Beam Radiation (3D-CRT, IGRT, IMRT), Stereotactic Radiosurgery, Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT), and Fractionated Stereotactic Radiotherapy. Order tests and images, prescribe appropriate treatments, and collaborate with the care team. Utilize EMR systems such as Mosaiq and Epic for documentation. Maintain coverage during scheduled dates, primarily Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm. Providers must be available for a minimum of two weeks per month and participate in the call schedule managed by permanent providers. Qualifications: Board-certified or eligible in Radiation Oncology. Experience in outpatient and free-standing cancer centers preferred. Ability to perform all required procedures and manage adult patient populations. Credentialing timeframe estimated at 90-120 days.
