Day Habilitation Activities Coordinator / Direct Support ProfessionalMonday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM | $18.50/hourGrow your career while making a meaningful impact.We're seeking an experienced Direct Support Professional to take on an Activities Coordinator role. This position blends direct support, staff mentoring, and creative program planning to deliver engaging, person-centered services for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct support while leading daily activities, lesson plans, and community outingsMentor and train staff; conduct observations and model best practicesComplete documentation, Day Hab summaries, and contribute to Plans of ServiceEnsure safety, safeguard funds, and maintain compliance with policies and regulationsCollaborate with supervisors and team members to maintain consistent, high-quality careQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent and experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilitiesKnowledge of person-centered practices and positive behavior supportsStrong time management, communication, and basic computer skillsValid, clean driver's license (required)PreferredExperience developing and facilitating activities or structured programmingAbility to tailor activities to individual goals and interestsReady to lead, mentor, and make a difference every day?
