PT - Physical Therapist

Physical Therapist (PT) - 8 Hour Shifts (Tuesday-Saturday)

We are seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to provide treatment for patients with illnesses and injuries, utilizing physical exercises and therapies to aid in rehabilitation and restoration of body functions. You will deliver therapy programs for clients of all ages, promoting maximum wellness and independence. This role may include additional responsibilities based on facility needs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate PT services, providing direct therapeutic care and teaching rehabilitation skills to clients and caregivers.
• Provide individualized preventive and rehabilitative PT procedures according to age-specific needs.
• Develop and revise plans of care based on ongoing assessments of client needs, history, and goals.
• Monitor and apply treatments involving physical agents such as heat, water, and electricity using various equipment.
• Document all skilled and medically necessary care thoroughly, accurately, and in compliance with regulations.
• Maintain confidentiality of client and organizational information at all times.
• Participate in Quality Management programs and complete required in-service training.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and Home Health Aides as permitted by regulations.
• Engage in staff meetings, case conferences, and community outreach efforts to support facility goals.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Physical Therapist license in applicable state.
• Experience in a rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Schedule

This position involves 8-hour shifts from Tuesday to Saturday.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
