TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Charlotte, North Carolina, 28204!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intermediate Care Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role required. License: Active nursing license required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required. Must-Have: Neuro experience required. Must be able to titrate LEVO. Teamwork approach and adherence to behavioral expectations in all interactions with patients and staff required. Must adhere to the call-off policy, which is strongly enforced. Description: The unit focuses on an intermediate population specialized in neurological and medical patients. Daily patient census will not exceed 24 patients. Registered nurses will provide care for patients with neurological conditions, including aneurysms, craniotomies, and traumatic brain injuries. Skills required include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, telemetry, IV therapy, and care of ventilated patients. Experience with feeding tube management, stomach drains, and hemodialysis is essential. Registered nurses will be responsible for administering blood products, managing central and peripheral lines, and titrating various intravenous medications. The position requires familiarity with isolation precautions, wound care, and safe medication administration protocols. Registered nurses will also engage in patient and family education while providing compassionate care. A collaborative environment to support interdisciplinary teams is vital. Weekend shifts are required, with a minimum of three shifts every six weeks. Candidates must be open to floating to other intermediate care areas as needed. All required skills and certifications must be current prior to the start of employment. Maintaining high standards for patient care and safety is expected at all times.
