HR Generalist

We're a fast-growing technology company operating at the intersection of AI, technology, and the future of work, and we're looking for an experienced HR Generalist to support day-to-day people operations and help build efficient, employee-focused HR processes as we continue to scale.

In this role, you'll support employees across the full employee lifecycle, with a particular focus on benefits administration, 401(k) programs, immigration, onboarding/offboarding, and compliance. You'll be a key resource for employees while partnering with internal stakeholders and external HR providers to deliver a consistent, high-quality employee experience.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on HR professional with deep expertise in benefits administration, 401(k) programs, and employment-based immigration — someone who is highly organized, discreet, and comfortable managing multiple time-sensitive priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

What You'll Do

• Serve as a primary point of contact for employees on HR policies, benefits, payroll-related questions, and general people operations support
• Administer employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, leave programs, and other offerings
• Support the ongoing administration of the company's 401(k) retirement plan, including employee enrollments, changes, and coordination with plan providers
• Coordinate employment-based immigration and work authorization processes — including documentation, deadlines, renewals, and employee communications — in partnership with outside immigration counsel
• Manage onboarding and offboarding, and support employee lifecycle changes such as promotions, compensation changes, leaves of absence, and terminations
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation within HR systems
• Support compliance efforts, helping ensure policies and practices align with applicable federal, state, and local employment requirements
• Partner with benefits brokers, retirement plan administrators, immigration counsel, and other HR vendors
• Assist with employee relations matters, escalating complex situations as appropriate
• Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and support additional People/HR initiatives as the company grows

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 5+ years of experience as an HR Generalist, People Operations professional, or in a similar HR role, ideally within a fast-paced technology or high-growth environment
• Hands-on experience administering employee benefits programs (medical, dental, vision, and related offerings)
• Experience supporting or administering a 401(k) retirement plan, including employee support and coordination with third-party plan administrators
• Experience supporting employment-based immigration and work authorization processes, including coordination with immigration counsel and employees
• Strong understanding of HR operations and the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, employee changes, and HR documentation
• Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance requirements
• Experience working with HRIS and benefits administration platforms
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and time-sensitive employee matters
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High level of discretion and sound judgment when handling confidential employee information
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving technology environment where processes continue to develop as the organization scales
