Position LPN Staff Nurse Description The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Staff Nurse administers skilled nursing care to patients requiring nursing services in accordance with physicians orders and under the direction of supervision of the Case Manager. Provides nursing care, teaches and supervises the family and other team members to provide continuity of care and to implement comprehensive care. Responsibilities Observe patients for any changes to their conditions / reactions to treatment and report the information to the attending physician and Registered Nurse (RN) Re-evaluate the patients' continuing care and safety When necessary, initiate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures appropriate for patients' care and safety Teaches, supervises, and counsels patients and their family members regarding patients' needs Administrative duties, such as completing all documentation in a timely manner Report daily to the Case Manager or Clinical Supervisor on services rendered, issues, and potential solutions Position Requirements 2 pieces of identification (State ID and Social Security Card) Active LPN License Current Physical within 6 months 2 Steps of PPD/TB test 1st step within the last year, 2nd step within the last 30 days (Chest X‑Ray’s are accepted also) Clean Criminal Background check Required to take a drug screen BLS CPR Certification /First Aid This position is currently accepting applications. #J-18808-Ljbffr
