During the weeklong training, you will learn about School Bus Leadership, Special Needs Equipment Installation, and Employee Responsibilities. Upon successful completion of the training class, you may become employed as a Substitute Transportation Assistant. Please note that we are currently only hiring Substitute Transportation Assistants. You will be paid during the weeklong training period as a Temporary Employee $15 per hour. Employment is contingent upon Post-Offer Employment Testing (POET) which allows the District to make a conditional offer of employment to a potential candidate based on ability to perform essential physical functions of a job.
