We are seeking a Business Development Coordinator in Mount Pleasant, MI who is detail-oriented, enjoys new challenges, and is self-motivated.

The Business Development Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative, operational, and project support to the Business Development Department. This position requires a highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated professional with excellent communication skills and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. The ideal candidate will assist with document preparation, project coordination, and oversight of the day-to-day activities of the Business Development Department while thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Core Responsibilities:

• Prepare, maintain, review, edit, and organize business development documents, proposals, presentations, and related materials.
• Assist with new business opportunities through research and document preparation.
• Maintain and update department databases, working documents, and filing systems.
• Organize and maintain electronic and physical records related to business development activities.
• Support the coordination of meetings, presentations, and special projects.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure efficient workflow and communication.
• Coordinate meetings, calls, and follow-ups with clients during the transition process.
• Prepare and submit documents requested by clients, lenders, and regulatory agencies. Follow up as necessary to facilitate timely reviews and approvals.
• Draft and manage professional correspondence with clients, ownership groups, lenders, local and state agencies.
• Support onboarding processes for new clients and communities.
• Perform other duties and special projects necessary to support the daily operations of the Business Development Department.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience

• Two or more years of experience with administrative support.
• Knowledge of property management, affordable housing, or related industries is preferred but not required.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
