As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. DayTimeSat11:00 PM - 07:30 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:30 AMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, exterior grounds, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter areas, reporting unusual conditions and/or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor entry procedures, and documenting access-related activity in accordance with site policies.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrol activities, and other security-related events using required reporting systems.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- A Guard Card/License is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
