Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Part Time CPR Preparedness Patrol in San Jose, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a residential community, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will assist residents and visitors, respond to security-related concerns, and communicate professionally while supporting a welcoming environment. Job Schedule:
DayTimeSat05:30 PM - 02:00 AMSun05:30 PM - 02:00 AMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential community.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, property concerns, and policy violations.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with resident and guest entry as directed.
- Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- CPR/First Aid is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
