Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for Labor & Delivery RN!


- Join a dynamic team in a rural hospital setting!
- Shift Details:
- Type: Mid 3x12-Hour (15:00 - 03:30)
- Weekends Required: Yes (6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule)
- Position Highlights:
- 1st Timer - L&D RN
- Float between units: No
- Independent work required due to solo L&D nurse scheduling
- Charge nurse serves as L&D backup
- Key Responsibilities:
- Manage labor patients and care for OB triage and outpatient patients
- Assist with postpartum and nursery care as needed based on patient volume
- Follow AWHONN guidelines for staffing whenever possible
- Qualifications:
- 2 years of charge experience preferred
- Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM
- Skills to Bring:
- Experience with facility births/month: 200-300
- High-risk antepartum care and triage of obstetrical patients
- Proficient in IUPC placement and calibration, CVC/PICC maintenance, and various therapies
- Ability to assist with high-risk delivery and circulate for C-sections
- Additional Information:
