CT Technologist - Hospital - Full time - Up to $115,000/YR + 20K Sign on bonus!

CT Technologist Position

The role is a CT Technologist position located north of Austin, Texas. The technologist will perform CT examinations, operate imaging equipment, and ensure patient safety and quality imaging.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform CT examinations according to established protocols and physician orders.

Provide safe, compassionate, and efficient patient care throughout imaging procedures.

Prepare patients for CT procedures and explain exams, positioning, and safety requirements.

Operate CT imaging equipment and produce high-quality diagnostic images.

Follow radiation safety practices and ALARA principles.

Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.

Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to patient needs.

Maintain CT equipment and report equipment issues as needed.

Follow hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance standards.

Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Successful completion of the ARRT examination and maintenance of ARRT certification and continuing education requirements.

Current Texas Medical Board (TMB) license or eligibility to obtain Texas licensure within the temporary certification period.

Strong knowledge of CT procedures, radiation safety, patient care, and imaging protocols.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

ARRT CT certification preferred.

BLS certification preferred.

2 years of hospital CT experience preferred.

Additional ARRT certifications are a plus.
