Lead CT Technologist

Lead CT Technologist leads clinical and administrative operations in North of Austin, TX. Oversees imaging staff and manages CT protocols and workflow. Drives quality and safety standards while supporting staff development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise radiologic technologists, support staff, and daily imaging operations.
• Coordinate staffing, workflow, patient volume, and CT room utilization.
• Provide clinical guidance on CT protocols, positioning, image quality, and patient care.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety, ALARA principles, and regulatory standards.
• Assist with onboarding, training, competency assessments, and team development.
• Support performance reviews, coaching, and employee development.
• Collaborate with radiologists, leadership, and other departments.
• Participate in quality improvement, image audits, and repeat analysis.
• Monitor equipment functionality and coordinate preventative maintenance.
• Assist with scheduling, timekeeping, inventory, and other administrative duties.
• Perform CT procedures and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography required.
• Current Texas MRT license required.
• Current BLS certification required.

Preferred Skills:

• ARRT CT certification preferred.
• 2 years of leadership experience preferred.
