Work hands-on with hardware and software, to create libraries that will control and automate test and measurement devices. Grow your career in defense contracting while directly supporting aircraft sustainment programs through software development.Responsibilities:Develop libraries to control test instruments (Digital Multimeters, DAQ systems, Matrix switches) using C# .NET 10Convert libraries written in C to C#Implement methods in C# that perform measurements (voltage, current, resistance, digital patterns) for avionics systemsRead manufacturer programmer manuals to implement instrument library functionsVerify C# library functionality in a laboratory environmentQualifications:Required:B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field3 or more years of professional C# programming experience3 or more years of experience with .NET Framework / .NET Core (experience with modern .NET versions)Strong understanding of C# fundamentals (classes, methods, attributes, JSON serialization)Experience working with JSON file formatsDemonstrated problem-solving and debugging skillsStrong attention to detail and commitment to code qualityWilling and able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)Willing to work onsite in San Antonio, TXDesired:Air Force, Military or Defense Contracting experienceBasic electronics knowledge (voltage, current, resistance, digital I/O concepts)Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and test requirementsBackground in electronics testing or test engineeringFamiliarity with test & measurement instruments (DMMs, oscilloscopes, DAQs, etc.)Experience with National Instruments hardware or softwareFamiliarity with Git version controlExperience with C development-What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity.At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
