Warehouse Team Lead - 2nd shift

Warehouse Team LeadJoin our team and help keep our operations running strong. We're looking for a hands-on Warehouse Team Lead to support our 2nd shift operations. In this role, you'll guide daily activities, support your team, and help drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement across the warehouse.What you will do:Lead day-to-day warehouse operations to meet production and shipping commitmentsProvide work direction, coaching, and support to hourly team membersTrain and onboard new employees and temporary workersMonitor daily performance and take action to keep the team on trackPartner with supervisors and support teams to resolve operational issuesPromote a safe, organized work environment and reinforce safety expectationsIdentify opportunities for improvement and engage the team in problem-solvingOperate equipment such as forklifts and other material handling tools as neededWhat we're looking for:High school diploma or GED2+ years of warehouse or distribution experiencePrevious leadership or team lead experience preferredForklift certification and ability to pass internal testing requiredComfortable using computer systems (e.g., Microsoft Office, warehouse systems)Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to communicate clearly and work effectively with othersA positive, team-focused attitude and willingness to be hands-onShift Details: 2nd Shift – Monday–Friday, 2:30 – 11:00 PM (with opportunity for overtime)Location: Dayton, MNCommitment to strengthen communities where our employees live and workCore values that shape our culture and drive us to deliver the best for our employees and our customers. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply. Compensation Range: $23.90 - $44.40 Per Hour Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.At nVent, we value our people and their health and well-being.
