Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary interviews to gain insights into clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health status, ensuring comprehensive documentation from the initial consultation through the duration of treatment.

• Utilize clinical assessment tools to evaluate clients and formulate detailed intervention and recovery plans tailored to individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that promote awareness, coping strategies, and personal growth.
\n
• Continuously monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals, to align intervention strategies and enhance care delivery.

• Proactively follow up with healthcare providers for clients admitted to hospitals, ensuring a cohesive approach to their mental health care.

• Identify and mitigate behaviors that may hinder recovery, employing preventive measures to support clients through their healing processes.

• Offer guidance and resources to family members and primary caregivers, assisting them in managing the challenges associated with mental health issues.

Your work at North Oasis will primarily involve a diverse range of clients seeking support for various mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.
\n
• Successful completion of the National Counseling Exam (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, allowing you to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively to clients and team members.

• Demonstrated ability to engage in collaborative and empathetic interactions, fostering strong client relationships.

Preferred Experience\n

• Proven experience in a clinical mental health counseling role, with a strong understanding of psychotherapeutic methodologies and treatment approaches.

• Familiarity with integrating therapeutic practices for clients with co-occurring physical and emotional health conditions, and experience with addiction disorders.

• Competence in using electronic health record systems, preferably AVATAR, for efficient documentation and client tracking.

• Knowledge of American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices is highly desirable.

• In-depth understanding of the pharmacological treatments prescribed by medical professionals and their implications for therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers an attractive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, reflecting your experience and expertise.
