Key Responsibilities\n

• Engage clients through preliminary assessments to understand their mental, behavioral, and emotional status effectively.

• Develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual, couple, or group needs, incorporating evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques.

• Facilitate therapeutic sessions, both individually and in groups, focusing on resilience building and coping strategies.

• Continuously monitor client progress through regular evaluations and adjust treatment plans as needed to match evolving needs.

• Collaborate with other health professionals, including psychiatrists and medical doctors, to ensure a holistic approach in treating clients, especially for those requiring hospital admissions.

• Document all interactions and treatment plans accurately using our electronic health record system, focusing on compliance and confidentiality.

• Assist family members and caregivers in understanding and managing the mental health challenges faced by their loved ones.

• Identify and devise strategies to mitigate behaviors that may hinder recovery, creating an atmosphere of safety and support for all clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily be working with a diverse clientele that may include individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and substance use disorders. Your ability to connect with clients from various backgrounds and circumstances is crucial, as you'll be delivering personalized therapy that respects each person’s unique story and context.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, with a potential sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
