Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Part Time Patrol - Fluent Spanish in San Diego, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and travelers. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. DayTimeSat08:00 AM - 04:00 PMSun08:00 AM - 04:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to transportation clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transportation facilities, parking areas, loading zones, vehicle yards, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
- Prepare clear and accurate reports regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.
Minimum Requirements:
- Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
