Job Details Position: Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Colorado Springs, CO 80909 Assignment Length: 13 weeks Shift Duration: 12-hour night shifts Schedule: Nights, various days of the week Hours: 36 hours per week Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,180 - $2,290 Setting: Birth center / Labor & Delivery Start Date: September 14, 2026 On-Call: Required per unit need Weekend Requirement: Yes, per unit needs Floating: May float within the service line and, when needed, to another nearby facility Charting System: Epic Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Colorado Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required Previous travel nursing experience required Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, AWHONN Advanced, and FHM certifications required Experience with high-risk antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care Proficiency with Epic charting required Strong clinical background in obstetric assessment and fetal monitoring Ability to work nights, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed Comfortable working in a fast-paced unit with a 2:1 patient ratio Responsibilities Provide compassionate, safe patient care throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond quickly to changes in patient condition Assist with inductions, C-sections, cerclage, D&C, and other obstetric procedures Support high-risk pregnancies, including patients requiring magnesium, insulin, or pitocin therapy Perform fetal monitoring, triage, and comprehensive patient assessments in a high-acuity environment Collaborate closely with physicians, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary care teams Educate and support patients and families throughout the childbirth experience Maintain accurate documentation and uphold best practices in patient care, safety, and quality Why Consider This Colorado Travel Nursing Opportunity?
