RN – Med Surg / Urology-Nephrology 

Shift: 3×12 Nights | 6:45 PM–7:15 AM
Unit: Urology/Nephrology | 25-bed unit
Average Daily Census: 23
Experience: Minimum 2 years
First-Time Travelers: Yes, if they have a strong Med/Surg foundation and 2+ years of Med/Surg experience
Weekend: Every other weekend
On-Call: No
Charting: Cerner

Required

• 2+ years Med/Surg RN experience
• Active Illinois RN license in hand or currently in the application process
• BLS
• Cerner experience – REQUIRED
• Must be willing to work Charge as needed
• Must be willing to float to other Medical/Surgical units

• Med/Surg / Tele
• Cardiac monitoring & remote telemetry
• Rapid Response Team experience
• Pre/Post hemodialysis management
• Renal failure
• Blood product administration
• Central line blood draws
• Peripheral IV care/management
• PICC line management
• Starting IVs
• Heparin
• Chest tubes — Emerson/Pleur-evac
• CPAP/BiPAP
• HFNC
• Non-invasive airway management
• Oral suctioning
• Portable oxygen
• Isolation precautions
• Wound care / Wound VAC
